Alan Merris Bell is the founder of New High Renaissance. NHR promotes and supports realism artwork through out the world.
Alan attended art school at the San Francisco Academy of Art. He served in the U.S. Army as an Illustrator for Infantry Magazine. Alan is retired from the Portland Fire Bureau as a Firefighter Paramedic.
He is now working out of his studio as a full time artist.
